HandsOn Network
- The HandsOn Network combined with the Points of Light Foundation in 2007 to create the Points of Light Institute, now known as Points of Light. (See below)
- The HandsOn organization was a network of local volunteer centers across the United States. There are still several individual city organizations remaining.
- They focus on local, community-based volunteer opportunities, some based on professional skillset.
- The programs may differ a bit from location to location, but generally, these sites connect volunteers with non-profits to work on projects. They have an easy-to-use Volunteer Calendar with search functionality.
